‘Tis the season for holiday-themed music videos and rap battles.
In a new music video, which is part of the second YouTube series “Epic Rap Battles of History,” legendary rapper Snoop Dogg Lion stars as Moses in a bizarre battle against Santa Claus.
The video features lyrics like Santa telling Moses, “You’ve been a naughty boy, you brought a plague of frogs,” “my list says [you] killed an Egyptian dude,” and “No bacon but mandatory circumcision?” to which Moses replies: “Why I was high upon the Mountain, God showed me the truths of Earth but he never mentioned a fat ass Papa Smurf” and “Don’t you Ho-Ho me, I’ll split your ass in half, like I did the Red Sea.”
The music video will certainly leave viewers with some plaguing questions, like what exactly is the reason behind this Santa’s hatred for Jews, or why is Moses such a stoner, but it is nevertheless an entertaining depiction of what might happen if Santa and Moses did somehow meet and had a rap battle.
