JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israeli troops dismantled a Palestinian outpost in the West Bank.

The al-Manatir encampment — comprising four tents and five metal shacks — was set up recently near the Palestinian city of Nablus. It is the fourth Palestinian outpost established and dismantled in recent weeks.

Israeli soldiers surrounded the outpost and used tear gas and stun grenades to disperse the Palestinian activists, who threw rocks at the soldiers. Five Palestinians were hurt during the evacuation on Saturday, according to reports.

Also Saturday, Jewish settlers and Palestinian activists clashed at the site of the outpost, throwing rocks at each other.
