Jonathan Mark’s article, “Immersed In Jewish Meditation” (March 6) about Rabbi Yoel Glick and his book, “Living the Life of Jewish Meditation,” was lovely. Thank you for sharing and bringing to us an awareness of Jewish meditation. His book is great and perfect for any Jew who is interested in meditating.
Meditation is a hot “new” topic that has Jewish origins as well. I am a Jewish Mindful Meditation teacher in Suffolk County, L.I., and teach meditation to children and adults.
Jewish Meditation doesn’t have to be for those lucky Jews that live in Jerusalem or the South of France. We need it and can practice it wherever we are, because wherever we are, that is where we connect to the Divine.
