Tired of long waits, hefty fees and unexplained rejections, Israelis hope the US will lift visa requirements

Israel hopes to join the United States’ Visa Waiver Program by a Sept. 30 deadline but still has “significant work” to do within a short timeline, a U.S. embassy spokesperson said.
