Two articles regarding Talia Avrahami were removed on September 1, 2026. Ms. Avrahami was, at the time of original publication, understood to be transgender. Ms. Avrahami has shared documentation showing that subsequent to publication, she was diagnosed with a congenital intersex (Differences of Sex Development) condition. Following that diagnosis and subsequent medical evaluation, she has shared documentation indicating that she has been recognized as female under Jewish law by several senior Orthodox rabbinic authorities.
