Sixteen Jewish immigrants, seeking to make illegal entry into the United States via Florida, voluntarily gave themselves up to immigration officials in Florida, when their boat was threatened by a storm, it was learned here.
The immigrants will be deported to their native European lands either from Miami or from Havana. Among those involved are S. Frank, W. Rosenberg, L. Selarewitz. J. Berkman, A. Isaac, M. Wilmer, E. Kaper, S. Wolie and daughter Eva, R. Nashelska and son.
