A total of 407 immigrants were admitted to Palestine during the month of August and 331 persons left the country during the same period making a total addition to the population of 76. Of the number of persons arriving 328 were Jews, 62 Christians and 17 Arabs. Of those who emigrated 158 were Jews, 128 Christians and 45 Moslems.
