Forty thousand persons packed the Ramath Gan stadium, near here, to witness a thrilling military spectacle staged last night by Israeli army teams. The event concluded the Independence Day festivities.
Chief features of the evening were a display of colored lights, an exhibition of hand-to-hand fighting by paratroopers and a demonstration of jiu jitsu. Premier David Ben Gurion and Chief of Staff Gen. Mordecai Makleff took the salute.
