A total of $600,000 was contributed to the United Jewish Appeal last night at the conclusion here of a conference of the Southeast Region of the UJA. The parley, attended by 600 Jewish community leaders from Alabama, Northern Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee, was the largest ever held in the South for the UJA.
