The 750th anniversary of the great Jewish philosopher of the middle ages, Maimonides, was marked here last night at a meeting at the University of Amsterdam. The meeting, sponsored by the Jewish community, the local Zionist association and the Society for Jewish Science, heard lectures by several leading scholars, including Prof. J. A. Van Praag and Rabbi B. Benedikt.
