The Jewish Welfare Fund for San Francisco, Marin and San Mateo counties has raised $1,665,000 in its 1950 campaign to date, it was announced here today.
The funds raised by the J.W.F. are allocated to the United Jewish Appeal, national agencies, and to local welfare and civic protection projects. More than 9,200 persons contributed to the 1950 campaign.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
