A 21-year-old man who firebombed a synagogue in Edmonton, Alberta, in 2000 has been sentenced to a year in jail. Yousef Sandouga, who pleaded guilty to arson, said he had been frustrated by the situation in the Middle East and decided to take it out on the local Jewish community.
