A Czech lawmaker compared German suffering after World War II with Jewish suffering in Theresienstadt during the Holocaust. Zdenek Barta made his comments Saturday at a ceremony marking the opening of a new social service center in the town of Terezin, as Theresienstadt is known as Czech, paid for by German and Swiss church organizations.
