A dinner Monday night in Flushing, L. I., will open the drive of North Shore Jewry to raise $5,000 for distressed brethren in Germany.
The dinner will be held in the Temple Gates of Prayer and will be conducted under the auspices of the Flushing committee of the United Jewish Appeal. Rabbi Max Meyer and Rabbi Jacob B. Grossman head the committee.
