A former aide to the ate Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was convicted in a long-running graft case. Overturning an earlier acquittal of Shimon Sheves, the Israeli Supreme Court on Tuesday found him guilty of fraud and breach of trust while serving as the chief of staff in the Prime Minister’s Office in the early 1990s.
