A German citizen was charged in an Israeli court with planning to carry out a suicide attack for Hezbollah in Israel. Stefan Josef Smyrek’s lawyer said he would seek to move the trial to Germany, where Smyrek also faces charges, because his client cannot get a fair trial in Israel.
