A large group of admirers were at the pier to say farewell to Dr. Louis I. Newman and his family who left here tonight for New York City where he will assume the rabbinate of Temple Rodeph Sholom. Before leaving this city Dr. Newman made a farewell address at the Commonwealth and received an ovation from the audience.
