A lawmaker from Israel’s Likud Party received a jail sentence in a corruption scandal. Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court sentenced Naomi Blumenthal to eight months behind bars Tuesday after finding her guilty of providing illicit perks to Likud supporters and then trying to cover up the infraction.
