A new agitation against Jewish landowners in Hungary, was started by the Hungarian Right Press.

The newspapers charge that Jewish landowners declined to employ Christian Hungarian graduates of the agricultural schools. As a point in evidence they cite an alleged reply of Government Councillor Bekes, a Jew, declaring that he prefers to employ only persons of Jewish faith to work on his land. The newspaper “Magyarsag” demands that the government take steps to discipline Councillor Bekes and issue an ordinance compelling Jewish landowners to employ Christian officials.
