A new brigade formed by the Shi’ite Hezbollah movement that includes Lebanese men of all religions launched its first attack on Israeli troops in southern Lebanon. The attack, which pro-Israel sources said caused no casualties, was timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the first Israeli invasion of Lebanon, when 7,000 troops swept through southern Lebanon to the Litani River.
