A Palestinian died after being shot by Israeli troops in the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian was spotted with a group of others by soldiers in the Rafah area, near a fence separating the Israeli and Palestinian-ruled areas. Military sources said the Palestinians were in an area where there are numerous attempts to smuggle arms.
