A pipe bomb exploded in front of an office building in the eastern German town of Straslund, causing damage but no injuries. Police said it was possible that right-wing extremists were involved. The blast followed a July 27 bomb attack in Dusseldorf that injured several Jewish immigrants from the former Soviet Union.
