A slide show that tells the story of Purim for the deaf is being marketed for children and the elderly. The PowerPoint CD-ROM presentation of the Purim story, an Orthodox Union program aimed at helping deaf and hard-of-hearing Jews fulfill the commandment of “listening” to the story of Esther on Purim, is being promoted this year at nursing homes and religious schools.
