A weeklong series of cultural events devoted to Prague-born Jewish writer Franz Kafka opened in Bratislava, Slovakia. The program, which includes an exhibition called “European Frank Kafka,” was organized by the Czech Center, Goethe Institute, the Austrian Culture Center and the Museum of Jewish Culture in Slovakia.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
