Adenauer Warns Bonn to Reach ‘satisfactory’ Agreement with Israel

Dr. Konrad Adenauer, West Germany’s former Chancellor, warned here yesterday that, unless the present Bonn Government reaches “a satisfactory” agreement with Israel, as a result of the Bonn-Jerusalem economic talks opened last week, such a failure would affect West German relations with other countries. Dr. Adenauer said in his address that, during all the years of his chancellorship, he had maintained a policy of good relations with Israel and with France.
