After two previous attempts failed, two San Francisco-area Jewish museums have announced plans to merge, according to the Jewish Bulletin of Northern California. Jewish Museum San Francisco and the Judah L. Magnes Museum in Berkeley will become the Magnes Museum, and will operate facilities on two or three sites.
