Israeli Foreign Minister Yigal Allon will have talks in Bonn at the end of February with West German Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher. The two are expected to continue the dialogue they began in September in New York during the UN General Assembly. Allon’s visit returns that of Walter Scheel in 1971. In 1970, former Foreign Minister Abba Eban became the first Israeli Foreign Minister to visit post-war Germany officially.
