Governor Larson has appointed Isaac Alpern, banker and communal leader of Perth Amboy, a member of the Edison Park Commission of the State.

This commission will concern itself with the historic task of providing a permanent state memorial to Thomas A. Edison. The memorial will be in the form of a state park, which very likely will be located at Menlo Park, in Middlesex County where the distinguished inventor originally tried out his electric light experiments.
