L.H. Frisch, editor and publisher of the American Jewish World, announced plans today to mark the 50th anniversary of the weekly with a special edition.
The 50th anniversary edition will recount the story of the Twin Cities Jewry, its beginnings, progress and attainments, he said. The current issue of the weekly had a new front page masthead noting that the publication was started on June 12, 1912. Mr. Frisch has been associated with the American Jewish World from its first issue.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
