American voters support U.S. recognition of Palestinian statehood by a 2- 1 margin, according to a Jan. 28 poll conducted for the Arab American Institute. Among the 1,011 respondents, 54.5 percent responded yes when posed a question on the issue. Some 21.2 percent said no and 24.3 percent said they were not sure. The poll has a 3.2 percent margin of error.
