America’s largest Jewish women’s group gave its Henrietta Szold Award to Ronald Lauder, the president of the Jewish National Fund and the chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. The award made by Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, which also gave a 70th birthday salute to the Jewish Agency for Israel, came on the first day of the group’s 86th annual convention in Los Angeles.
