An Andy Warhol series of portraits of famous Jews was auctioned for a record $111,500 at Sotheby’s. The silkscreen series, “Ten Portraits of Jews in the Twentieth Century,” which included portraits of Golda Meir, Franz Kafka and the Marx Brothers, was snapped up by a private British buyer in London on Monday.
