An appeal for German books for Israel has been launched by the Union of German Publishers and Booksellers. It is hoped at the end of the four-month campaign to send a large shipment of books to the new state.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
