An attack on a synagogue near Paris was averted when neighbors alerted police. Arriving at the synagogue in Ivry, south of the capital, on Friday night, police found four bottles of oil and two other bottles filled with “inflammable chemical products,” a spokesman for the Bureau For Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism said.
