An Israeli force brigadier general and another officer were reported missing after their helicopter crashed during a training exercise off the coast of central Israel. The two were identified as Brig. Gen. Tal Shmuel Eldar, 45, of Kibbutz Palmachim, and Lt. Ilan Gur, 20, from Kibbutz Malkiya.
