An Israeli parliamentary committee voted unanimously to lift the immunity of a former Cabinet minister so that sexual harassment charges could be brought against him. At the committee meeting, Yitzhak Mordechai welcomed the prospect of a trial, saying it would be the “only way to prove my innocence.”
