The practice of certain summer resorts which advertise that they are reserved “for Christians only” was strongly condemned here today at a session of the Anglican Synod of Montreal.

The session adopted a resolution stating that “this Synod strongly condemns the use of the name “Christian” in hotel and other advertisements as a screen for pagan, commercialized anti-Semitism, such use being contrary to the spirit of Christ and the universal message of the Gospel.”
