–Plans are being made here for a drive in behalf of the “B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Service Appeal,” to get under way immediately after the Passover holidays and to be climaxed with a large community banquet late in April.

The appeal will be for a $10,000 quota, it was announced by Sidney Finkel, president of Ezekiel Lodge, the local constituent of B’nai B’rith, and will also include consideration for the work of the Hillel Foundations. It is planned to invite Prof. A. L. Sachar, national director of the Foundations, to speak at the community banquet.

Charles Manshel, one of the leaders of the local Ezekiel Lodge, will head the appeal. Bernard Miller, past president, will be treasurer, and Abraham Mankowitz, secretary.
