Arab nations are criticizing U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell for saying Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. On March 8, Powell told Congress that while there is no immediate plan to relocate the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv, President Bush is committed to moving it “to the capital of Israel, which is Jerusalem.”
