Arab Sheikh, Speaking Hebrew, Lauds Israel’s Policy on Minorities

An Arab sheikh addressed Israel’s Parliament today in Hebrew, reporting about “the progress Israel has made in the last 12 years in the treatment of minority people in our land.” The sheikh is Labib Abu Rukum, of the village of Isafya, a member of Parliament. The address was his maiden, public speech in Hebrew.
