ARABS CHARGED WITH MURDERING WOUNDED JEWISH POLICEMEN
Israel charged that a Jordanian force today invaded Israel in the Wadi Fukien area, south of Jerusalem, and murdered two wounded Israeli border policemen.
A small Israeli police detachment came upon the superior Jordanian force of infiltrees and the Jordanians opened fire on the Jews. The Israelis were forced to fall back, leaving two wounded behind. When they returned to the scene with reinforcements, the Israelis found that the Arabs had dragged the two wounded men across the border and had murdered them.
