Wearing a yarmulke, Nestor Kirchner also lit a Chanukah candle at Tuesday night’s event, held at the AMIA Jewish central institution in Buenos Aires. More than 3,000 Jews were among the 30,000 people who went missing or were abducted, imprisoned and murdered under the 1976-1983 military junta.
