Argentine Jews and others celebrated Israeli Independence Day. Organizers said some 10,000 people gathered at Luna Park Stadium in Buenos Aires on Tuesday for the afternoon-long celebration. The national anthems of Israel and Argentina were played, followed by the blowing of the shofar and dancing.
