Ariel Sharon met with representatives of the Israeli gay and lesbian community. In what is believed to be the first-ever meeting between an Israeli prime minister and the gay public, community representatives told Sharon Tuesday about the difficulties in their daily lives, the Yediot Achronot newspaper reported.
