The Nazi newspaper Koelnische Zeitung reports that Cologne District-Leader Grohe, in an address to party officials at Siegburg, urged that an end be put to “German generosity toward the Jews.” He said: “Germany is committing the mistake of tolerating Jews, who are the hereditary enemies of Germany and the agents of enemy espionage. It is intolerable that Jews are given ration cards while not performing useful work.”
