A petition signed by all the Jewish organizations in Belgium was sent to Geneva today to the League of Nations requesting in the name of Belgian Jewry that the League of Nations take necessary steps to reinstate the Jews of Germany in their full civil rights. A huge mass-meeting was held at Ghent in connection with this petition, the speakers including Louis Pierard, chairman of the Belgian PEN Club, and representative churchmen and statesmen who joined in the demand for League intervention. Three thousand people attended the meeting.
