A motor which draws energy from the sun, with sufficient power to generate electricity for a small settlement, has been successfully developed by the Israel National Physics Laboratory, Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion announced today in the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament.
Addressing the House on the budget of his Office, Mr. Ben-Gurion lauded the achievements of his Ministry’s National Council for Research and Development in discovering new sources of energy. He said Israel already occupied a prominent position in nuclear research for peaceful purposes.
