Mr. and Mrs. Ben Gurion landed at Marseilles last night, arriving on the Israeli liner, the S.S. Theodor Herzl. They were greeted officially by the Prefect of Marseilles, M. Haas Picard.

The Israel Embassy here would not discuss the Prime Minister’s plans in France, insisting he is here only for rest. Embassy officials said Mr. Ben Gurion will not hold any meetings of an official nature in this country.
