Ben-gurion to Head Ministerial Committee on Religious Affairs

The Israeli Cabinet approved yesterday formation of a ministerial committee on religious affairs headed by Premier David Ben-Gurion, which will process all religious issues before they are presented to the Cabinet.

Other members of the committee are Rabbi Y.M. Toledano, the Minister of Religions; Giora Josephtal, of Mapai, the Minister of Labor; Dr. Joseph Burg, Mizrachi, the Minister of Social Welfare, and Dr. Pinhas Rosen. Progressive, the Minister of Justice.

Dr. Burg was also named a member of the appointments committee for religious judges.
