George Brandt, representing the United States Department of State, today opened talks with German officials on the possibility of granting concession to Jews attempting to migrate from the Reich.
Current Government restrictions prohibit immigrants from taking more than 10 percent of their funds from Germany, and Brandt was expected to point out that this regulation would have to be changed if Germany expected to have from 150,000 to 300,000 Jews leave the Reich during the next five years.
